Extended Description: McVEA, Robert. Rifleman 249, 2nd Royal Irish Rifles, killed on active service 24th March 1917 (CWGC list 1918) aged 19. Son of David and Sarah.

He is commemorated on his parents' memorial in Cloughey Presbyterian Churchyard, County Down, Northern Ireland and also on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France.
