Colonel Robert Isaac Dalby Hackett.

Born 31 March 1857. He was the son of Thomas and Henrietta Clementina Hackett (nee Fawcett). He married Evelyn Mary Wynne-Jones 28 August 1895. He died 15 February 1925 aged 67.
He was educated at Chesterfield School, Ireland and Queen's University, Belfast. He graduated from Queen's University with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) He was commissioned in 1881. He fought in the Dinizulu Rebellion. He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He fought in the Boer War. He was Administration Officer, Sialkote and Abbotabad Brigades between 1911 and 1912. He fought in the First World War. He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919. He resided at Ocala, Eldorado Road, Cheltenham.
