- Robert Dale SPANTON. Dockyard Foreman, Armament Depots. M.T.E. (Mechanical Training Establishment) Died at Imtarfa 90th General Hospital, Imtarfa, Malta. On the 25th June 1940. In 1911 he was living with his wife Louisa Plunkett nee Bowley and their daughter Doreen May aged 1 at 87 Clarence Road, Torpoint, Cornwall. Occupation, Government dockyard worker. At rest in Plot 4 Row 1A Grave 12. In Imtarfa Military Cemetery, Malta.
