TURNBULL, Richard Derrick, Private 24384196, The Light Infantry killed in action in an ambush in West Belfast along with another on the 29th June 1977 aged 18. At rest in Guisborough Cemetery, Yorkshire


Christopher Richard MADDISON. Marine P053354J, 9 Assault Squadron, Royal Marines. Born 22nd March 1978 died died of shrapnel wounds after his landing craft came under fire on a river patrol near Basra 30 March 2003 aged 24. An initial investigation by the Royal Military Police blamed his death on an Iraqi ambush, but a Royal Navy board of inquiry concluded that he had been killed by fire from his own side. At rest at Woodland Crematorium, Woodlands Drive, Scarborough, Yorkshire.
