RAYMOND MONK. Corporal Royal Air Force (VR) killed on active service 7 May 1945 aged 39.

Son of George Oliver and Edith Rose Monk of Chaddesden, Derbyshire.

At rest in Heverlee War Cemetery, Belgium.

Commemorated on a family memorial in

Nottingham Road New Cemetery, Derby.
