Raymond LLEWELLYN. Act/Leading Telegraphist (Aircrew), JX 918451, 814 Squadron Fleet Air Arm HMS Eagle died 20th August 1957 aged 21. Taken too soon. I miss your smile. Wife Bunny and son Jeffrey.

He was killed along with William P H SWAYNE. Lieutenant (O) while flying in a Fairey Gannet AS4.

The cause of there deaths are as follows. Plane Parked aft end flight deck prior to free take off. Port wing lifted & aircraft slipped over stern inverted. Lt TMB Seymour rescued. This memorial is situated at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
