Some aircraft can have a pod fitted to one of the strong points on the wing, within this pod a camera is fitted which can be fired from the second seat in the aircraft. A lot of the pictures are taken by the photographer in the second seat with a normal camera. At present, we are not allowed to use digital cameras within RAF aircraft.
