POOLER William

POOLER William, Rifleman R/13321, 24th King's Royal Rifle Corps died 21st December 1918 aged 29. He was the son of Henry and Sarah of Bridge Street, and husband of Laura of 20, Bloxwich Road, Willenhall. He is at rest in Bentley Cemetery, Willenhall, Staffordshire. Some notes from what remains of his army record. He enlisted on the 27th May 1915 aged 25 years and 228 days. He worked at Clifford Works, Willenhall as a drop hammer forgings. He died at his home of heart failure and he left a widow and two daughters. Laura born 9th October 1913 and Elsie born 6th September 1916.
