That picture was shot between 1925 and 1938 somewhere in Poland. There is only one officer in the picture, fourth from right bottom row. Look at his collar. He has officers insignia. The others have ranks corporal or PFC. They were trained to become officers in case of war.
Thanks for clarifying this! My Grandpa looked very young in this particular photo. This was apparently taken during his training pre-war. This photo was with the Murnau photos and I assumed they went together. Andy
