Phyllis Mary GOOCH. Nurse VAD BRCS attached to Eastbourne Military Hospital.

Born 1891 David Lazenby and Kate Mary Gooch of Wayside, Northampton Road, Addiscombe, Croydon

Enlisted 28 May 1915 aged 24 and posted to 2nd Western General Hospital, Manchester to 27 June 1916. She reported for duty on the 1 July 1917 at Eastbourne Military Hospital and died at her hospital of influenza and pneumonia 6 November 1918 aged 29.

According to CWGC she is either buried or commemorated at Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery. Commemorated in the Book of Remembrance in Berkshire
