- Phyllis BAYLISS. Daughter of Master Gunner 1131 Thomas Baynham Bayliss, and Emily Matilda nee Rees of the Royal Garrison Artillery. Born 24th February 1915, baptised 21 Mar 1915 at St Matthews Church, Ricasoli, Kalkara, Malta and died 26th January 1918. They were residing in married quarters at Verdala Barracks, Cospicua, Malta.
At rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 1 Row 24 Grave 1.
Her father gained his commission on the 26th November 1918 and he retired on the 25th September 1923 and he was living at 24, Old Folkestone Road, Dover, Kent. He died on the 16th March 1925 aged 43. At the time of his death he was living at 8, Waterloo Crescent, Dover with his wife, Emily and he died at Scio House, Roehampton, Surrey.
