Philip John D’LOYDE. (Memorial has H John D'Loyde) Royal Marine, PO/18709 on HMS Queen Elizabeth stationed at Castille Signal Station. Born 1898 at Guilford, Surrey to William and Mabel Maud D'Loyde of (1901) Sullin, Westfield square, Woking, Surrey. Took his own life 22nd February 1926 aged 28 years. (Suicide by hanging) His widow Lavinia nee Mathews was informed of his death. Marine records show Philip John not H John. At rest in Plot D Grave 533 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
