Flight Lieutenant Peter MILLINGTON No. 2540627 of RAF Little Rissington.
Born 6 March 1930. Died 4 December 1958, aged 28, in the grounds of Bruern Abbey, Bruern, Oxfordshire. Laid to rest 10 December 1958.
He resided at 10 Officers Married Quarters, RAF Little Rissington.
On the day he was killed he was Box man in the J.P. display team and his student, Flying Officer David Hough and he were killed while carrying out a low flying instruction in Piston Provost XF542. They were flying leader pair in a tailchase when the aircraft seemed to stall about 500 feet. The port wing dropped and the aircraft struck a tree and dived into the ground.
