Trooper, 410710 7th Queens Own Hussars, who died in Egypt, 27th August 1940, 25. Son of Joseph George an Edith Annie Payne now Wellings of Blynhill

Commemorated on the grave of his brother in St Mary Churchyard, Blynhill, Staffordshire and is interred in Martin Farouk Cemetery, Alexandria Egypt.
The CWGC have him in Chatby Military and War Memorial Cemetery (originally the Garrison cemetery) Egypt
