Notification of Death 1914

The notification of the death of my Great Grandfather Gnr. John H. Theobald. He was killed on the 14th September 1914 at the Battle of the Aisne. There was some confusion about the recipient as John, who in 1914 was Army Reserve after having served with the RFA between 1906 and 1912, had only informed the army he was married when he was mobilized. His brother Charles was still down on record as next of kin and you will note the alterations made on the notification.
