SMITH, Norman Arnold. Lieutenant 251920, "B" Coy., 44th (7th, The Queen\'s Own Royal West Kent Regiment.) Regiment, Reconnaissance Corps, Royal Armoured Corps who died whilst serving in Italy on the 12 September 1944 age 23. He was the son of Albert Edward , retail grocer and Winifred Smith and was husband of Margaret Winifred Smith, of Bilston, Staffordshire. He is commemorated on kerb stone on a family grave in Merridale Cemetery, Wolverhampton and he at rest in Coriano Ridge War Cemetery, Italy.
