Norman Alfred McLENNAN Late Captain Shropshire Yeomanry.

Died 23 February 1932 aged 64

Husband of Mary Jane, nee Evans.

In 1911 he was residing with his wife and children at Pig Trough, 3 Coton Hill Shrewsbury. He was in the army as Squadron Sergeant Major. Native of Kings Cross London.

Some notes from remains of his army records -

He joined the 10th Royal Hussars at St Georges London on the 15 September 1887 as Private 2940.
Supplement to London Gazette dated 1 December 1915.
War Office, 1st December, 1915. TERRITORIAL FORCE Shropshire.
Norman McLennan to be Quartermaster, with the honorary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 1 December, 1915.

At rest at Shrewsbury Cemetery, Shropshire.
