Extended Description: Murdoch Richard Bird DAVIE. Chargeman of Fitters, HMS Dockyard Malta. Residing at 59 Norfolk Street, Sliema, Malta. Son of George William and Mary Elizabeth Davie nee Nordstrom, husband of Emma nee Metcalfe who he married in 1930. In 1911 aged 8 years he was residing with his parents and siblings at 15 Thomas Street, East Sunderland Died 3rd August 1947 at Point Battery , Sliema (Fort Tigne, Sliema) His effects went to Mary Jane Wilson and Ellen Christina Usher, widows.

At rest in Plot D Grave 716 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
