Minnie GREENWOOD. Nurse VAD

Born 1907 at Congleton. Daughter of Mr and Mrs Greenwood Highfield, Ringwood Road, Brimington, Derbyshire.

Died 11 January 1941 aged 34 at Lambeth Hospital when incendiary bombs destroyed part of the hospital during an enemy raid.

Commemorated on Civilian Roll of Honour, St George's Chapel, Westminster Abbey, London.
