- LICHTENSTEIGER Max A F. Merchant Navy on S.S. Tjisalak (Netherlands) died at sea 26 March 1944 aged 18. Born in Manchester to Max and Gertrude Lichtensteiger, of Handforth, of 43 Bulkeley Road, Handforth, Cheshire. Commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.
