Matthew (Hattie) Hatfield

Corporal Matthew Hatfield known as Hattie, Royal Tank Regiment along with Corporal Darren Neilsen and two other, where injured by an exploding practice shell within the Challenger 2 tank during a live fire at Castlemartin Range, Pembrokshire on Wedsnesday 14th June 1917, all were taken to different hospital. He died from his injures on Thursday 15th June 2017 aged 27

Rest in peace Hattie. You will never be forgotten.
