Market Garden Trip

During Nov./Dec 2002, my son David & I travelled to The Netherlands to visit some of the 'Operation Market Garden' sites, especially Arnhem Bridge.
Ever since I was a young boy, I have had an interest in the Arnhem battles and to finally stand on the bridge, on and around which these brave men fought so hard and endured so much, was something of a lifetime's ambition realised for me. The bridge is now named 'John Frost Brug' in honour of the Commanding Officer of 2 Para.
