Marie Cecile DUSSIO

Marie Cecile DUSSIO (Served as LEVESQUE family name). Lieutenant (Nursing Sister) RCAMC.

Born 17 March 1912 at Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand, Québec to Léona Levesque of 4363, rue DeLorimier, Montréal, Québec. Before the war, she worked at Hospital Notre-Dame in Montreal, Quebec. While on the front lines in Italy, she met her fiancé, Marcel Dussio who was born in Italy. Dussio was a member of the Royal 22 Régiment during the Second World War. She resigned her commission and left the Canadian Army 27 February 1945.

She died of tuberculosis 2 August 1946 aged 34.
