MACKENZIE, John

Sapper 471771, John MACKENZIE, 49th Division, Signal Coy, Royal Engineers, killed in action at Cambrai, France 10th October 1915 aged 23, He was the only son of John and Annie May, nee Pallister of Catterick. He is commemorated on his grand parents (John and Elizabeth Pallister) memorial in Catterick Cemetery, Yorkshire. He is at rest in Naves Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord France
