Extended Description: Lydia William Falconar GRANT. Nurse, Official Australian VAD attached to 2nd Western General Hospital Manchester, Ducie Avenue, Manchester.

Born 1880 at Falcon Hall, Morningside, Edinburgh, Scotland. Her sister Chesborough Grant resided in Whytecliffe Albion, Queensland, Australia.

15 November 1916 reported for duty at 2nd Western General Hospital Manchester until her death in her hospital of measles and septic arthritis 1 April 1917 aged 37

At rest in Manchester Southern Cemetery, Lancashire.
