Flak Jacket
Worn by Lieutenant Trevor ONGLEY, 1st Glosters while on patrol in the Lower Falls area of Belfast. The torn areas in the jacket were caused by five bullets which seriously wounded Lt Ongley in his arms and chest. He was a very lucky man that day.
On display at the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum. Commercial Rd, Gloucester.
