Lewis Charles ASHLEY

ASHLEY, Lewis Charles. Corporal 20263, C Company, Royal Munster Rifles, formerly 8003, Dragoons, died at Marseilles, France on the 11th June 1918 aged 32. He was the son of James and Caroline of Croft. He is commemorated on a family memorial in Christchurch churchyard, Croft, Lancashire and he is at rest in Mazargues War Cemetery, Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rhone, France (The CWGC have his rank as Private)
