Flying Officer, Robert LEGG, Royal Air Force, formerly Lieutenant, King's Own Scottish Borderers, Born 21st November 1900 and died in an aeroplane crash along with Flying Officer Peter Godfrey, Royal Artillery at Atley Hill, Yorkshire 9th March 1936 aged 36. He was the son of J W Legg He is at rest in Catterick Cemetery, Yorkshire.
12th January 1924 he was posted as Flying Officer to No4, Flying Training School, Egypt for a course of instruction.
