FORTY, Laurence Arthur. Sergeant Pilot, Royal Air Force (VR) who made the supreme sacrifice on the 27th May 1941 aged 25 at Wellesbourne Mountford, Warwickshire. He was the son of Arthur Thomas and Beatrice Elsie of Kidderminster and he was the husband of Vera Amy of Oakdene, Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster. "Per Ardua Ad Astra". He is at rest in Kidderminster Cemetery, Worcestershire.
