Laura Katherine MOORE

Laura Katherine MOORE, formerly Blumberg, formerly Fulford, nee Rogers. Born in Ireland, the wife of Lieut-Colonel William Francis Moore, Army Service Corps, died 25th May 1893 aged 45 in Valletta Malta. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) The family home was in Dover, lived with her husband in Malta. Her effects of £45. went to Herbert Edward Blumberg, Major General, Royal Marines.
She was born Laura Catherine Rogers, in 1843 in Cork, Ireland to Captain Robert Atkins Rogers, Royal Artillery and Alice, nee Gregory. She first married Lieutenant, Henry Grantham Fulford on the (I.G.I. Source) 10th October 1865 at Great Fulford Devon, he died/killed in 1867 aged 28. Then married on the 20th June 1868 aged 26, widow, to Frederick William Ludwig Blumberg aged 29, Captain, 17th Lancers at St Mary's church Osterley, he died in 1882 aged 44. and finally William Francis Moore at Dover in 1886. At rest in Ta Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
