Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta Thursday 11th March 1948 aged 31 years of poisoning by phenobarbitone due to an overdose of the sedative which caused asphyxia. “Always lovingly remembered by his mother and family at Hastings." Wills and Admin, Ancestry - His residence in England was 53 Milward Road Hastings, died at place and date stated. His effects went to Winifred Ethel Beaney, married woman.
