Kettenkraftrad (Kettenkrad) Sd.Kfz.2. Built by the NSU company in Neckarsulm who were commisioned to build it in 1940.
Initially built in two versions.
1. Sd.Kfz 2/1 Field communication cable layer
2. Sd.Kfz 2/2 Laying heavy field communication cable
This picture was taken in Normandy date and location unknown but as you can see its in allied hands now and still has its purpose built trailer.
