Flight Lieutenant (Instructor) Kenneth John EVANS No. 152692 Royal Air Force stationed at RAF South Cerney.
Died 28 March 1956 aged 35.

He resided at Caravan Site RAF Station South Cerney Gloucestershire

Credit the following to a book titled RAF Little Rissington.

He was flying at Provost T.1 WV423 along with student, Flight Lieutenant C A Coatsworth. The instructor opened the throttle to demonstrate the maximum climb rate but there was a thud and the engine failed. A decision was taken to abandon the aircraft. The student parachuted to safety, the instructor left at a late stage but his parachute did not fully deploy. He died at Hillcott End near RAF South Cerney.
