Kenneth Arthur BEASLEY

BEASLEY, Kenneth Arthur. Boy, First Class, Royal Navy D/JX 155997(CWGC list Ordinary Seaman) who died on active service in H.M.Destroyer, Matabele. He was buried at sea on the 29th January 1941 aged 18. He was the son of Thomas William and Marjorie Eleanor.
He is commemorated on a family memorial in Stratford on Avon Cemetery, Warwickshire and also on the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Devon This stone is erected by his shipmates to his memory.
"Hold thou thy cross before my closing eyes: Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies: Heaven's morning breaks and earth's vain shadows flee in life, in death. O Lord abide with me."
