Joseph William BLOWER

BLOWER, Joseph William. Private 61408, 2/1st, Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry who died on 19 November 1918. He is at rest in Wolverhampton Cemetery, Staffordshire. (Army Register of Soldiers Effects, Ancestry have the following The name was original James William Blower, the James was crossed out and replaced with Joseph. He died in Military Hospital Buttervant, Ireland on the 19th November 1918 of flue. His effects went to his sisters, Mrs Matilda Dutton, Mrs Beatrice Dauce and brother, Edwin. He was laid to rest in Merridale Cemetery, Wolverhampton His brother Edwin served as Private 37079, with the Lincolnshire Regiment and survived the war.
