SUMNER Joseph. Private, 6th King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. Died 22nd August 1915 in Malta from the effects of being in action at Mesopotamia. Son of George who was granted a war gratuity on the 22nd January 1916.
THURLOW Stanley Stevenson. Trooper, 159, 1st Australian Light Horse. Died of his wounds, 21st August 1915, aged 21 years. The son of Charles Hatley Thurlow and Sarah Jane Thurlow, of Hill Street, Scone, New South Wales.
MACLEAN Thomas. Trooper, 793, 1st Australian Light Horse. Died of his wounds, 20th August 1915, aged 18 years. The son of the late William Maclean and Charlotte Maclean, of Cardiff, New South Wales.
