ROLLO Joseph. Private 8104, Royal Army Medical Corps died 5th July 1915 aged 32 at St Andrews Hospital, Malta. Son of George and Esther of Percy Main, Northumberland, husband of Annie Harker Codling formerly Rollo of 9 Yeoman Street, North Shields. In 1911 he was living with his wife, Annie and daughter also called, Annie of 71 Ravensworth Road, Dunston on Tyne.
PLUMMER Edwin. Private 14715, 2nd Royal Fusiliers. Died of wounds on the 6th July 1915 aged 22 at Malta from injuries received at Gallipoli. Son of Ernest and Sarah Ann of 39 Seldon Road, Nunhead, London.

There is no denying the entry in the register of the CWGC which places Pte Joseph Rollo with the RAMC.
However, the burial register records Joseph Rollo as an Acting Sgt aged 33 years of 3rd Coy RA who was buried at Pieta on 5 July. Did the padre make a mistake or was Rollo attached to the Royal Artillery when he died?
Just been rechecking on Joseph Rollo. Unable to locate his Army records but everything else comes up as RAMC.
