Extended Description: 2nd Lieutenant, 5th Lancashire Regiment killed in action near Ypres on the 31st July 1917 aged 33.Youngest son of Joseph and Sarah of the Hattons. Commemorated on his parents memorial at St Mary and St Chad churchyard, Brewood, Staffordshire and also on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium
