Mac GOWAN Joseph.M.D. Lieutenant, Royal Army Medical Corps. Died of dysentery 18th September 1915 aged 44. Worked in St George's Hospital, Malta, where he died in 1915. Husband of Doctor Margaret Arnott MacGowan, of 63, Edgemount Gardens, Langside, Glasgow. M.D. Born 11th October 1870 to Joseph and Jeanie.

Lt Joseph MacGowan died at Malta on 18 Sept 1915. He was stationed at St George's Hospital where he was seized with fever and died after a short illness. He was 44 years old.
