JOSEPH LLOYD. STOKER 293648 ROYAL NAVY ON HMS EURYALUS BORN 30 OCT 1881 AT ELLESMERE PORT NEAR CHESTER, CHESHIRE. ENLISTED ON THE 30 OCT 1899 OCCUPATION PRIOR TO ENLISTMENT, LABOURER. DIED 11 FEB 1904 AGED 23 OF SEPTIC PERITONITIS CAUSED BY GANGEROUS APPENDIX IN A HOSPITAL IN MALTA. HIS MOTHER WAS INFORMED OF HIS DEATH 16.2.04.
