Joseph DAVIES. Rifleman 47712, Royal Irish Rifles, posted to 1/8th London Irish Rifles died 29th April 1918 aged 27 from wounds received in action. He was the nephew John and Ellen Taylor of Crewe, Cheshire. Son of John Davies of 15, Furber Street, Crewe. He is commemorated on his aunt and uncle Ellen and John Taylor memorial in Crewe Cemetery, Cheshire. At rest in St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
