John William HEARD

HEARD, John William. Private 13007618, Pioneer Corps died 26th April 1941 aged 40. He was the husband of Florence Georgina, nee Parton of Tytherington, near Macclesfield. He is at rest in Holy Trinity Churchyard, Hurdsfield near Macclesfield, Cheshire.
(Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived with his wife at 6, Blue Bell Lane, Tytherington near Macclesfield and his effects went to his widow.
The following army notes may belong to him. He joined up on the 25th May 1919 aged 18 years and 5 months. He lived at 9, Oldham Street, Bollington, Macclesfield . His parents were called William and Eliza and he was by occupation a cotton doubler. He was posted as Private 86086, 3rd Cheshire Regiment to Surbiton, Surrey. On the 26th July 1919 he was discharged unfit for military training after serving 93 days.
