Extended Description: Private, 6955, John TURNER 1st King's Own Royal Lancaster Regiment. Enlisted on the 17th December 1901 and died 27th April 1903,aged 20 years, accidentally drowned at Ghain Tuffieha. Son of Abel who was granted a gratuity on the 1st July 1908.
