MANSFIELD John Thomas. Private 5983 1st South Staffordshire Regiment killed on active service at Zeebrugge, Belgium on the 7th November 1914 aged 34. He was the son of Noah and Ann Heath of Portobello, Staffordshire and was the husband of Mary Elizabeth. He is commemorated on his parents memorial at Bentley Cemetery, Willenhall, Staffordshire, and also on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium
