E. EA. A. 680. SWIFT JOHN Private 18541 6th Bn. Yorkshire Regiment. Died 27 November 1915
E. EA. A. 680. Joseph William TREZISE. Private 530, B Company. 25th Australian Infantry. Son of John and Catherine Trezise, of Port Douglas, Queensland. He enlisted at Port Douglas 28th January 1915 aged 37, occupation, farmer. His mother who was his next of kin was living at Nowbray, via Portdouglas, Queensland. He was taken ill in the field 20th October 1915.Treated at 7th Field Ambulance 23rd October suffering from cholecystitis. 27th October transferred to 16th Casualty Clearing Station, 29th October he was at Mudros. He was invalided to Malta on Hospital Ship, Rewa suffering from jaundice and was admitted into St David's Hospital 2nd November. He was transferred to Cottonera Hospital 23rd and died 28th November 1915 at 5-30pm. He was laid to rest the following morning.
E. EA. A. 680. Felix WRIGHT. Private 727. D Company 28th Australian Infantry, 7th Brigade. Born at Athlone, Ireland, enlisted 31st March 1915 aged 31 and 8 months, occupation, miner. He previously served 12 years with the 2nd Connaught Rangers in India. He posted to Alexandria and 4th September 1915, he embarked from Alexandria with his battalion to Gallipoli on H.T. Ivernia. 18th September 1915 he was shot and wounded in the thigh and foot, treated at 7th Field Ambulance then No 16 Casualty Clearing Station. Invalided to Malta on New Zealand Hospital Ship, Maheno and admitted into Cottonera Hospital, Malta. 28th November 1915 he died of complications relating a compound fracture to a femure. He was laid to rest the same day at by Reverend Copperstone.
