Extended Description
Corporal, John SUTHERLAND. 71st Highland Light Infantry, died at Malta 24th October 1875 aged 23. This monument was erected as a tribute of esteem by the Non Commissioned Officers and Men of Letter K Company. In 1871 he was stationed at Wellington Barracks, Lancashire aged 19, native of Scotland.
