John Samuel Carrothers. Lieutenant Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Born 3 February 1898 at 1 Farnaght, Tamlaght, County Fermanagh. Joined the Officers Training Corps (OTC), 1915, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant with 3rd Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Killed in action whilst serving with the 8th Battalion 16 August 1917 aged 19 years. Son of Samuel Graham and Margaret Jane Carrothers, nee Jamieson of 1 Farnagh, Tamlaght, Co. Fermanagh.

Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
