2nd Lieutenant John Lisle LYSAGHT. Irish Guards. Awarded the Croix de Guerre 6 November 1917

Irish 1911 Census. John Lisle Lysaght, born 1889 in Australia, residing with his aunt and uncle Charity Elizabeth nee Haines and William Lysaght at 3 Twopothouse, Caherduggan, County Cork.

He may have been the son of Arthur Royse and May Lysaght, nee Prendergast.

War Office, 10 March 1916. Special Reserve of Officers.
Foot Guards. Irish Guards.
Temporary Second Lieutenant John Lisle Lysaght, from 2nd Life Guards, to be Second Lieutenant. Dated 11th March, 1916, but with seniority as from 7th September, 1914
