Flight Lieutenant John LEWIS No. 686712 of RAF Little Rissington. Red Arrows pilot.
Born 13 May 1943, died 20 January 1971 aged 27. Laid to rest 26 January 1971.

He was killed when two Gnats collided mid-air at RAF Kemble along with Flt Lt Euan Perreaux, Flt Lt John Stewart Haddock, Flt Lt Colin Armstrong. John joined the team in October 1970 and it was his first display season.
