Extended Description: LEE, John M. (M.C.) Major, 46th Royal Marine Commando, killed in action 25th August 1944 aged 31. Only son of John J and Mabel C and husband of Joan Isobel of Hove, Sussex. LLB (Cantb) and the holder of the Military Cross.

Commemorated on a family memorial at Alderley Edge Cemetery, Cheshire and is buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy, France
